The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was inspired by the image of smartly-attired gentlemen upon a classic motorcycle. The first ride, in 2012, was all about having a bit of fun with like-minded dapper folk. It captured the imaginations of custom classic motorcycle riders globally, and was held in 64 cities around the world. The massive success of that first event inspired the organizers to use that goodwill to raise money for research into men’s health.


Their goal in 2016 is to work together with their ride organizers, sponsors and charity partners to raise over $5,000,000 USD (globally) to support men’s health. The money is to be spent on Medical research into Prostate Cancer & Mental Health issues that will benefit men globally. Raising money is important but equally important is the conversations around these subjects. They want to ensure riders feel comfortable talking about Prostate Cancer and Mental Health issues and learn about preventative measures during The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride season. They want every man in DGR finishing their ride focusing on their health before the 2017 event.
